Al Staehely

Formerly of the band Spirit, Al Staehely's rich musical history dates back to the classic, 1970s era of rock-n-roll. While in Spirit, Al has performed on stages across the globe—including a headlining show at Carnegie Hall—and has written and performed music with many acclaimed artists such as Keith Moon (The Who), Marty Balin (Jefferson Airplane), Peter Cox (Go West), and The Nick Gravenities/John Cipollina Band. In 1973, as a new duo, Al and his brother John released an album titled “STA-HAY-LEE,” under Epic Records. It was very-well received amongst Spirit followers. Today the Staehely Brothers routinely perform together throughout Texas and California.
