I studied trumpet at NMIT and subsequently flute at the Victorian College of the Arts, specialising in jazz and improvised music. I extended my learning with musical travels to India, Turkey and Ghana.I was also fortunate to learn from the traditional makers of the didgeridoo in the Aboriginal community of Wugularr in Beswick,NT. and received their blessing to play the instrument in my own way.
