Soul Asylum is vocalist/guitarist Dave Pirner, drummer Michael Bland, lead guitarist Ryan Smith and bassist Winston Roye. In 2020, the quartet released Hurry Up And Wait, landing the band their highest Billboard Chart positional since 1995. HUAW reflects Soul Asylum's usual eclectic approach: thrashing songs indebted to punk and classic rock, folk-influenced pop-rock, and gorgeous jangle-pop.
