David is a native of Kingsville, Texas and now calls Spicewood TX home. Among others, his influences include Townes Van Zandt, Guy Clark, John Prine, Billy Joe Shaver, Australia's Kevin Johnson and of course there's Willie, Waylon, Merle and Lyle. Musically, there are hints of folk, country, bluegrass, and Texas swing. It's "Americana, with a Texas accent."
